The following is the duty roster for the blog, which I hope to keep active for the entire time we're in Vietnam. Please make sure you know which day you're writing on, and whether you're in a pair (if so, make sure you work closely with that person to write your collective entry).
You will be expected to submit photos along with your entry to k_buckmaster@my.ofs.edu.sg by the start of the next morning/afternoon period, or hand the writing to me on a piece of lined paper, by that time (if you can't, please see me, and don't worry, I don't bite!). Please give what you've written a quick read-through before you send it on to me, to make sure you haven't made any silly grammar mistakes. That would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Entries should be no more than 200 words. As well as writing articles you will also be responsible for uploading a minimum of 5 pictures for each story. The pictures will be uploaded to the Picasa website and will be embedded into the post as a slide album. See me or Mr. Glover if you are unsure how to do send the pictures. Have fun with the photo-taking, and be creative!
When writing, don't only describe the events of that morning/afternoon, also reflect on them, talk about how you felt, what struck you, things you want to let family and friends at home know. This shouldn't be a labour or a piece of homework, I want to make it so that you guys want to write on the blog, and are interested in reading what others have written.
So, make this fun, and it will be fun! And plus, in a few years when you look back on this trip and this website, you'll be glad you wrote it all down.
If all else fails, you can always use these entries to help with your CAS/ECA reflections which you'll fill out next year.
